Product Native: The renowned Macaroon sweet got introduced to TamilNadu (India) during French colonisation in Thoothukudi (Tuticorin). The Native chefs created a unique and tastier version of it. Thus Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) became the centre for Macaroon making in TamilNadu.
Specialty: The history of Macaroons can be traced back to 8th Century Monarchy in Italy. The improvements on Tamil version of Macaroons is happening continuously and now we have the newest addition which is Baby Macaroons. To be very precise the size of the macaroons got reduced by half thus the outer perimeter gets more crispier and divine flavor of cashew dominates every bite of it. In addition the reduced size helps in easy consumption. These traditional macarons are still made use wood and charcoal which creates the perfect temperature to bake these delicacy at right level.
