As the name suggests "Thenkuzhal" is a honey like recipe. Chettinadu is very famous for Thenkuzhal murukku. The specialty of it is that the Murukku will be crispier but in the mean time will not show any reddish signs of fried items. All eateries will turn into reddish color which indicates their crispiness but this is not true in case of thenkuzhal. The ingredients and their unique proportion gives this unique texture and taste to ThenKuzhal. In Chettinadu region people still follow the most authentic way of ThenKuzhal preparation.
