Product Native : This traditional Native Sweetener is from Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu, India. Calcium (Sunnambu) acts as the main factor in the process of Palm Jaggery production. As the Calcium (Sunnambu) is available in abundance in the Sea base near Tiruchendur the Palm Jaggery production became possible in this area thousands of years ago.

Speciality : The Sukku Karuppatti or Puttu Karuppatti is a value added product from regular Palm Jaggery. This is prepared by adding Sukku, Milagu (Pepper) and Ginger (Inji) along with Palm Jaggery in a specific percentage that would provide enormous health benefits. This Sukku Karuppatti can aid in clearing throat infection, cough etc., in a natural way. This is one other example of grand Tamil food tradition that revolves around the concept of “Food as Medicine (Unave Marundhu)”
