Product Native : This product is from the famous port town of Parangipettai (TamilNadu, India) which is famously called as Porto Nova during Portuguese rule. During the period of Tamil Kings of Chola Dynasty this port is used to be the point of entry for Mughals. Thus this dish got introduced to this town from Mughals.

Among all the varieties this Parangipettai earned a special place because of its unique way of preparation. This Halwa is made using the milk taken from the Samba Wheat.
